- Age 0 – 18: The majority of Kasen's life is spent camped within Moslen Forest.
- Age 3: Tamas and Katrina, his parents, begin teaching him the ways of hunters.
- Age 6: It became apparent that Kasen's talents lied with bladed combat rather than the long range bow combat his parents were familiar with.
- Age 8: Realising there was little more they could teach their child, Tamas took Kasen into Basfelt Village to find him a proper teacher. They met a woman who agreed to take the boy on as an apprentice, however she advised his father that it may be some time before Kasen might return home. After his son begged and pleaded, Tamas gave in and let the boy leave with the quiet woman. Neither knew she was actually a wandering Daeva.
- Age 8 – 18: The Daeva trains Kasen in the arts of bladed combat, stealth, survival as well as teaching him things like reading, writing, basic mathematics and sciences. While vastly knowledgeable about human things, his mentor was not very wise in the ways of the Daeva and avoided telling him much beyond the things he had learned from his parents and the villagers of Basfelt.
- Age 18: Kasen essentially underwent a rite of passage, though it turned out to be more of one than his mentor had planned. She had left him to fend for himself for one week in the deep wilds of the Mosbear Habitat, however she was ambushed by Lepharist Revolutionaries that she had crossed sometime earlier as she was returning to her apprentice. Kasen watched the five men murder his mentor, and when she did not rise from the grave as he expected her to, the young man gave himself over to Vengeance. He hunted down and murdered the men, as Aion seemed to chose him to replace his fallen mentor; unaware that she was gone permanently, Kasen journeyed to Pandaemonium where he discovered the truth about his mentor and began to learn about his new way of life.
- Age 18 - 20: The young man begins working towards becoming part of the Shadow Court, however he first works for the Temple of Knowledge as a scribe and courier whenever he was not abroad. It was during this time that Kasen began to realise that he had grown tired of hunting non-sentient predators, moving on to the Mau and Skurvs that plagued the majority of Altgard. When they eventually became to easy, the young man moved up to the next link in the chain – mortals and finally Daeva. He focused the majority of his efforts on the Lepharist Revolutionaries, whom he hated perhaps more than anything else, and though he continued hunting the upstarts, he eventually began to take contracts against other Daeva.
- Age 20: Finding himself still a long way from becoming a part of the Shadow Court, Kasen begins to hire himself out to the nobility of Vanahal whenever his work for the Temple or the local outposts did not provide enough funds to support him. In an attempt to keep his less than savory work well away from his normal life, Kasen creates a series of drop points and contacts using an alias and disguise; as far as most of Asmodae is concerned, he is just a simple courier and scout who enjoys the great outdoors.
